For NOVICA artisan Putu Oka Mahendra, designing and making ceramics is in his blood. He learned the craft from his mother, decades ago. So when Putu’s beautiful condiment bowls called “Dance Fans” were featured in the fall edition of “Fine Cooking”, we couldn’t wait to show him!
As soon as the magazine made the long journey to Bali, we rushed it to his showroom. He flipped through the pages and his face lite up when he saw his bowls!
